Amalfi Coast Travel Guide
Oh, Amalfi - you beautiful gem. This glorious peninsula with stunning cliffside resorts give you all the Dolce Vita vibes. This location is taxing to get to - but oh, is the journey WORTH IT. When to Visit: We went at the end of May, and it was PERFECT. Not necessarily the best time to swim, but the weather was warm, and crowds were incredibly scarce. Keep in mind that the Amalfi Coast is a seasonable destination - they'll be locking their doors come October. Things to Consider: Don't come to Amalfi specifically for the beaches. There are no actual sandy beaches in the area, except for a few black pebble beaches. How to Get There: You'll likely arrive from Rome, or Naples, and then there are a few stops to take to get to the beautiful coast. Don't worry - the view is breathtaking on the journey.
